Purpose Statement  

I.  What is the purpose of our BLAST Ministry?

Galatians 2:20 "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."

We desire to see our teenagers take three steps in their lives:

     1.  Believe- Our number one desire is to see every teenager come to a point where they    realize that they are a sinner in need of a Savior and that Jesus died for them. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ liveth in me."

     2.  Living- After placing their faith in Christ, we then need to learn the Biblical principles on how to live our life.  "...and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God..."

     3.  Sharing- Sharing is taking what you believe and telling others.  Our third desire is to see and develop teens who are willing to take a Godly stand in their schools, homes, and workplaces and actively share the Word of God to those who are around them.  "...I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."

II.  Plan

How do we accomplish our purpose?

 -----> Sunday School (9:30 a.m. on Sunday Mornings)

-----> Wednesday BLAST (7:00 p.m.)

-----> Teen Visitation (Saturdays @ 10:00 a.m.)

-----> Christian Service Opportunities

-----> Summer Camp- Wilds, Brevard, NC

-----> Snow camp @ NBBC in Wisconsin

-----> Missions Trips- Summer of '06 (Lord Willing!)

-----> SNAC's- Sunday Night After Church

-----> Chicago Wolves Games

-----> Monthly Activities

-----> Projects (Operation Andrew, Christmas Project...etc)
